High Definition Marine Cinematography & HD Programming
Cinematographer, Director and Producer, David Hannan won international acclaim for his tropical coral reef footage in his classic video Coral Sea Dreaming first released in 1992. Many years, TV documentaries, musical videos and DVDs later, David remains passionate about all things marine and since 2001 has filmed exclusively on HD in a joint venture with ProCam in Brisbane Australia.
Over the last 7 years David, his partner Lucy Trippett and crew have filmed in tropical & temperate waters all around Australia, established a production base in Papua New Guinea and also undertaken several field trips to Antarctica.
Although busy with commissions, TV field shoots and productions, David also foresees an exciting future for HD Display Programming with a current focus on his new film Coral Sea Dreaming HD. Several successful HD programs are currently in release including Antarctica Dreaming - Wildlife on Ice and Serenity Southern Seas with more projects planned.
